The Dingle Whiskey Bar
The latest addition to The Porterhouse Group is our Dingle Whiskey Bar in the heart of Dublin City on Nassau Street.
Taking its name from the Dingle Distillery in Co. Kerry, which is also owned by the Porterhouse Group, the bar aims to bring a taste of the western fringe to central Dublin. With its beautiful, cosy interior of reclaimed whiskey barrel oakwood, we are pretty sure you will get into the spirit of the place from the minute you enter the bar. As for the menu, we specialise in everything from Ireland's secret single pot still classics to the malts of Scotland's five traditional whisky regions. From the smoky malts of Islay (where our own John McDougall was once distillery manager at the legendary Laphroaig) to the honeyed white oak maples of Booker's small batch bourbon to the experimental concoctions and traditional stalwarts of Ireland's own exploding whiskey scene, we aim to celebrate the hard stuff in all its rich and wonderful diversity.
When our own distillery's whiskey is ready, rest assured that we will be stocking it in its rightful place on those same eclectic shelves! Unsure what to order? Just ask our bartenders and they will guide you to suit whatever taste you are looking for.
Trust us, we love this stuff. Despite our adoration for the craythur, however, we also enjoy a variety of wines, bottle craft beers, and diverse spirits with a particular focus on our own distillery's artisanal Dingle Gin.
Sláinte, agus fáilte go Daingean.
